Public Sector Account Executive
Location: Northern VA / Washington, D.C.
CloudCheckr is a fast-paced, innovative cloud management software company that partners with some of the world’s largest corporations and managed cloud services providers. We are looking for a high-energy, driven Account Executive with software-as-a service (SaaS) and value-driven public sector sales experience to join our successful Global Sales Group.
Job Summary: The Public Sector Account Executive engages with prospective and existing customers to determine and close sales opportunities with existing and future CloudCheckr offerings.
- Deliver sales presentations and technical demonstrations
- Meet or exceed revenue goals within assigned territory
- Qualify leads from a variety of inbound lead sources
- Consistently and creatively build new outbound pipeline
- Identify and act on opportunities to sell new products to existing customers
- Maintain industry knowledge and deep understanding of CloudCheckr solutions
- Leverage a consultative approach to determine customer needs
- Proactively sell into multiple levels of an organization
- Develop strong champions with customer stakeholders
- Build and maintain mutually-beneficial business relationships with customers, and account executives within CloudCheckr’s industry partners
- Cloud Services Sales and/or Support, especially in:
o Amazon Web Services
o Microsoft Azure
o Google Cloud Platform
- B2B, SaaS Sales
- Experience in one or more of the following sales areas, including Federal Government, IC, State and Local Government, and Higher Education
- Proficient in Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships
- Driven, highly motivated and competitive
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and report on progress
