Government Gets Secure with CloudCheckr Self-Hosted AMI

Special circumstances call for specialized solutions. Case in point, optimizing cost and enhancing security when using AWS for Government sometimes requires a self-hosted AMI (Amazon Machine Image) version of CloudCheckr. While our SaaS (Software as a Service) offering is available to all enterprises, government users often require complete control of the actual computing instance running the CloudCheckr software. Amazon Web Services recognizes this and in a recent tweet encouraged such users to check out CloudCheckr’s self-hosted AMI.

While the tweet mentions a 14-day trial, we’re letting you try the AMI version for a full month! Users can leverage the 30-day free trial and, when they see the benefits, sign up for an hourly or annual pricing plan. There are numerous configuration options, from m3.large to m4.16xlarge or r3.large to r3.8xlarge, to accommodate small to large government users.

That’s not all. Can you keep a secret? CloudCheckr for the IC Region can. There’s even a version of CloudCheckr’s AMI for highly secure agencies, “air-gapped” from the Internet for the utmost in security.
