We are looking for a high-energy, talented, and, driven Sales Engineer with software-as-a service (SaaS) and value-driven technical engineering solutions sales experience. Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer is part of an elite technical pre-sales team responsible for driving the successful implementation and adoption of our cloud management platform. This is a consultative technical position that powers the sales organization – working directly with prospective customers and managing all the technical aspects of pre-sales activities through to a successful deployment.

Quantifiable Responsibilities:

  • Educate prospective customers on the practical application of CloudCheckr solutions during the sales process, via discussion and technical demonstration
  • Develop customized implementation and workflow solutions tailored to each prospective customer’s needs and objectives
  • Assist with the configuration and onboarding of CloudCheckr to validate customer use case requirements
  • Together with the Technical Account Management team, engage existing customers to uncover opportunities for them to improve cloud management strategy using CloudCheckr
  • Work with Account Executives to meet or exceed revenue goals within the assigned accounts
  • Provide the translation bridge between customer business needs and CloudCheckr software capabilities

General Expectations:

  • Collaborate with other CloudCheckr departments to ensure full understanding of client requirements and needs in solution development
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with parallel contacts within our industry partners
  • Maintain product/platform knowledge necessary to offer support to customers, and effectively distill and deliver the CloudCheckr value proposition to current and prospective users
  • Maintain sufficient cloud computing industry knowledge to recognize new business and partnership opportunities

Ideal Experience and Traits:

In selecting for this position, we will heavily weigh your innate ability, personality traits, and ability to work in a start-up environment, but our ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform/Cloud Computing
  • Capability to translate and understand complex customer business needs and requests
  • B.S. or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Project Management
  • 1+ years of experience in B2B SaaS solutions engineering, implementation and/or sales
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Driven, highly motivated and passionate about leveraging technology to solve business problems
  • Professional sales training is advantageous but far less important than a solid foundation in – or knack for – customer service
