Chief Technology Officer
Jeff Valentine, Chief Technology Officer at CloudCheckr, is a growth leader for technology companies. He has started, invested in, bought, or sold 12 companies in the past 20 years for a combined value of more than $280 million.
Prior to joining CloudCheckr, Jeff was managing partner of private equity buyout firm Exium Partners, Chief Marketing Officer of Fonality, a telecommunications software company that he helped grow to $45M in revenue and sell to a strategic investor; SVP of product at M5 Networks, a software-as-a-service company that was acquired by ShoreTel, and Chief Executive Officer of Callfinity, a software company he co-founded and later sold.
Jeff is a member of the board of directors of several private companies and non-profit organizations including the Strong National Museum of Play, the Rochester Angel Network, and the Venture Jobs Foundation. He is a cum laude graduate of Cornell University in materials science and engineering with a concentration in polymer chemistry. Jeff lives in Fairport, New York, with his wife and two daughters, where he spends his spare time maintaining a ridiculous tree house.
