CloudCheckr Update Makes Compliance Easy with Allgress Integration

Staying up on compliance is a major undertaking. Fortunately, Allgress Regulatory Product Mapping (RPM) tool can help you identify compliance partners; we announced last month that the RPM tool features CloudCheckr for ensuring HIPAA, PCI and other standards.

Now, we’ve made compliance even easier for CloudCheckr users by integrating Allgress directly within the app. CloudCheckr users can easily check and manage the compliance and security of their cloud in one central place.

The Allgress Integration is just one of the new features added to CloudCheckr this week. Additional enhancements include:

Our “Fix Now” button works like magic, letting users tell the CloudCheckr app to automatically make the recommended fixes on their behalf. If you want to know what is going on behind the scenes, the Best Practice Check Fix Now feature will show the permissions needed to execute the request and explain what specific actions CloudCheckr will take.

We keep adding reports for Azure to make Virtual Machine management easier and more efficient. This week, we added a Virtual Machine Right-Sizing Report, which looks at all available Virtual Machine utilization metrics and makes re-sizing recommendations based on usage. We also have a Virtual Machine Scale Set Summary and List of Virtual Machine Scale Sets.

Additionally, Azure administrators can leverage these new Best Practice Checks:

  • Storage Accounts Without Secondary Locations
  • Idle Virtual Machines
  • Over-Utilized Virtual Machines
  • Redis Caches with non-SSL Port Enabled
