As Director of Learning Products at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Scott leads a team focused on inspiring individuals to acquire, validate, and deploy skills that enable them to unlock their potential and realize their objectives when building on the AWS cloud. During his 9+ year tenure at AWS, Scott has held a number of leadership roles across product management, business development, and partner development. Prior to joining AWS, Scott led acquisitions and investments for a software division of EMC, specializing in IT operations management and emerging cloud technologies.

VP of Cloud Transformation, A Cloud Guru

Drew Firment is SVP of Cloud Transformation at A Cloud Guru. He works closely with business and technology leaders to accelerate cloud adoption. Drew was previously Director of Cloud Engineering at Capital One where he led enterprise cloud operations within their Cloud Center of Excellence and migrated the early adopters of Amazon Web Services (AWS) into production. He founded Capital One’s cloud engineering college that drove a large-scale talent transformation and earned a patent for measuring cloud adoption and maturity. Drew is recognized by Amazon as both an AWS Community Hero and Alexa Champion for his efforts building inclusive learning communities.
